Why it matters
CPC sets the entry cost of buying traffic, but on its own it says nothing about whether that traffic becomes pipeline, which is where B2B teams get misled.
How it is calculated
CPC = total ad spend / number of clicks.
What good looks like
A reasonable CPC depends entirely on channel and audience; the figure that matters is not the click price but the downstream cost per qualified lead and per opportunity.
