Local Proof
Social proof from the buyer's own market: local customer logos, case studies, testimonials, and references that look and sound like them.
Why it matters
Proof from a different market reassures less. A German buyer weighing a vendor wants to see German customers; a US case study, however impressive, raises the question of whether you understand the local context.
What good looks like
Strong local proof means at least a few named customers, results, or testimonials from the target market, presented in the local language.
In the European market
A single strong German or Dutch reference often outweighs a wall of foreign logos for a local buyer. Prioritize getting and showcasing the first one.
