Unique Selling Proposition
Also: USPUnique Selling Point
The one thing you do that competitors do not, framed as the single reason a buyer should choose you.
Why it matters
A USP forces a company to name its sharpest point of difference rather than hiding behind a long list of features. It is most useful as a focusing device: if you had to win on one thing, what would it be? That clarity makes messaging and sales conversations easier.
What good looks like
A real USP is both true and hard for competitors to claim. If every competitor could say the same thing, it is a table-stakes feature, not a selling proposition.
